V-Ray 4 unlicensed: use trial or your licensed account (online). V-Ray 4 activated: ready to use, no extra steps.

Thea v2.1 note: activation explanation was wrong and could cause bugsplat. v2.2 is fixed.

Plugin compatibility

Not all plugins are compatible with latest SketchUp version. I do not control this, ask the plugins makers. Check compatibility in the table/version labels. I cannot test everything on everything, so other combinations may or may not work. For example, if a plugin is made for sk 2025, it will probably work with any 2025.x version, but may break on future versions - or, it may work, depends on how it was built by the original makers.

Tested on 2020: V-Ray 4.20+, Enscape 2.7, Datasmith, Skatter, OpenCutList, Laubwerk

Tested on 2021: Thea 3, Enscape 3.1

Tested on 2023: Enscape 3.4. V-Ray doesn't even exist yet so be patient.

Tested on 2025: V-Ray 7.10, Enscape 4.7

🌐 Languages

Now included all languages.

▶ 2020

Default app is English. Download language pack 2020 to launch SketchUp in Italiano, Spanish, French, German, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Svenska, Russian. Read included txt for instructions.

▶ 2021-2023

Default app is english+italian, language pack is included (since it's small) but can be deleted if you just want english or italian. Read included txt for more details.

🧩 Addons & Plugins

This is a multi-package portable. Plugins/addons/extensions/presets/brushes/etc can be added in two ways:
• via .svm files (managed by me), put in the same folder as main exe.
• via 'normal files' (managed by you), put under sandbox folder.

Why separate .svm packages?

• Useful for plugins: reduces main exe size, and makes the portable modular. Wow!
• I can release small updates/fixes without re-downloading the whole app.

How to add plugins? Two ways:

• SVM: Special format for my Portables. Put .svm file next to the .exe, it loads at next startup.
  If available, you will find all compatible addons/plugins/update packs as .svm files on this post. If you want a new plugin, just request it on the Requests page and I'll do my best to create the svm file for you. If not available, use 'normal files' method.
• NORMAL FILES: Put regular files (not .svm) somewhere under the Sandbox folder, indicated below. It is created next to the portable at the first startup. The exact path may vary depending on where you put the files in the OFFICIAL installation, which I have no control over. The \Sandbox\...\roaming\modified\ folder acts as the C: drive for the portable. @PROGRAMFILES@ is the usual /Program Files/ folder (x64), @APPDATALOCAL@ is the usual /AppData/Local/ folder, etc. - so things must be in the correct location to be detected, by the portable, just like the usual installed app 🙂
  Example: Put .aex After Effects plugins in the /Plug-ins/ subfolder, .aep Premiere Pro preset file in /Preset/ subfolder, .mp4 files for Filmora fx pack video preset files somewhere else idk they keep changing.
  Notable folder examples:
  "\Sandbox\{app name}\roaming\modified\@PROGRAMFILES@\..." = program files
  "\Sandbox\{app name}\roaming\modified\@PROGRAMFILESX86@\..." = program files x86
  "\Sandbox\{app name}\roaming\modified\@APPDATALOCAL@\..." = C:\ProgramData

Trouble? Please comment telling me exactly how you add that plugin in the normal setup/installation version, only then I can guide you on how to do the same in portable version.

Online/offline versions
(v19.2+) I made both versions as some users wanted to use Warehouse inside of sketchup, which requires online connectivity. So if you need Warehouse download online version and you will be able to use it, otherwise download normal offline version which is 100% offline like almost all of my portables, and therefore more secure and private.
(2020) both online/offline included in one package.
