ok, i saw that with adblock or without it its the same, its imposible to download something, well its better if you keep your softwares for your self
everything is the same with or without, all free to download, the only difference is that links take 5-6 seconds to load instead of 2-3 seconds. See faq for a full guide on how to download with screenshots.
Great release – one question though – i suppose the splash screen is intentional – is there a way to deactivate it though?
Nope. There are a lot of a-holes that steal my programs and post elsewhere or even sell it to make money over my work. I spend countless hours making these programs and keeping the website up, so at least the final user always knows who’s really behind it, and if they paid at least they feel dumb, as here it’s all free to download.
Hello. I really like this Directory Opus Explorer, it is one of the best ones avaible cause it has so much features. But, when i launch this here, it always asks for a “querry.dll” which seems missing. It wouldn´t even start without this file. So i ended up downloading this dll and threw it somewhere into the “Sandbox” Folder which actually worked. I could load up “Directory Opus”, and it worked flawlessy. But i noticed that the CPU was very high, in fact it was a process called “dopus.exe”, which came from this Portable Version here. My whole PC became… Read more »
you should NEVER download dll from the internet, like it’s explained everywhere in faq page and on the (reliable part of) internet. Instead, get official dll by downloading setup version, unpacking and get the dll from there
Okay, but i still don´t know now why i´m missing the file in the first place and what is causing this high CPU thing.
What should i do? I´m clearly missing that file, but want to use this Version from you.
So what should i do?
Hello again.
I dont know why my last comment is not showing here, but whatever.
About that dll, yes, i shouldnt downoad dlls from the internet. But still this file was missing from your package somehow.
What should i do now? I really wanna use your portbale Version.
I don’t know why it’s missing, it works fine for me – as I said, get official setup version and pick the original trusted dll from it, instead than that from somewhere on the internet
Sorry, i have to ask something again.
It worked after a Reinstallation of Windows. I must somehow missed the file.
Oh God. I use directory opus for years. This is the best explorer ever although I never saw a portable version of it. You always deserve my appreciation.
welcome 😉
Thank you! 🙂
