What does ‘Classic’ mean?
Lightroom CC is now known as Lightroom Classic CC. It is the traditional well-known Lightroom of past years, while Lightroom CC (not Classic) is a cloud-based version with a totally different target audience.
This is a multi-package portable. I can add updates/plugins via .svm files, just request plugins or notify me about new updates.
FILES:
- Adobe Lightroom Classic 2025 Portable.exe = main data file and program - Camera Raw package: already included in main data file. Not possible to use external .svm as in Lightroom its location is different than all other Adobes. - bridge.svm: includes latest Bridge program, launch it via File->Browse in Bridge
ADDONS:
Sandbox folder: "\Sandbox\Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 2019\roaming\modified\@PROGRAMFILES@\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom Classic CC 2019\"
Note: Camera Raw is included. Lightroom is not compatible with my external updateable .svm camera raw, but works with all other svm files, like Bridge or other plugins.
Languages:
Multilanguage version! All languages included, change in settings :) Available: English, deutsch, french, chinese, japanese, nederlands, italian, korean, portugues, spanish, svenska. (de_DE,en_US,es_ES,fr_FR,it_IT,ja_JP,ko_KR,nl_NL,pt_BR,sv_SE,zh_CN,zh_TW)
Note: portable 2023 might start in German for some reason, but you can change it in settings as shown below (open with Ctrl+W)
Known issues:
2020 Suite just came out, first patched versions are out, but they still have some minor issues. (even install version, it's not a portable issue!) For Lightroom: v8.0 - "Develop" and "Map" module pages not working v8.2.1+ - pages fixed! v8.4.1 - (made with Thinapp, doesn't support svm) v9.1 - 2020 update, svm support, but Dev not working for now - incl. Camera Raw 12.1 v9.1 v2 - no svm support, Map and Dev working - incl. Camera Raw 12.1 v9.2 v2 - no svm support, Map and Dev working - incl. Camera Raw 12.2 2023 v12.2.1 - svm support - incl. Camera Raw 15.something

It starts enough to ask about the database, but won’t continue with my working database. The start screen loads if I choose “new database”, but then it all shuts down again. (just trying to provide you with more relevant info than “doesn’t start”)

Could you please explain why the following bat file is contained within the archive for v9.1.0.10.v2:

Pretty self explanatory 🙂 you see the portable requires admin by default at start (couldn’t override this default), but it’s not really needed for Lr functions, so it can also be executed without admin with that little trick I included – so by dragging the exe over that bat file
Well, I simply clicked on the LR exe file and everything ran perfectly, so I didn’t understand the need for the bat file. 🙂
I know it works perfectly, the bat is to run it without admin rights, not everybody is admin on their pc, many use portable because they can’t install stuff since they have no admin rights
Ah, and that is exactly why I ask you for an explanation of the “drag and bat” It didn’t make sense as is and needs/needed a text file description. Now there is one. 🙂 Have a nice day my young friend.

yes it’s actually intended for that, so you only have one /Sandbox/ folder containing two data structures

I only make portable software sorry, that’s only for windows. Look for mac setup on internet 🙂
Photo merge is not working =(

photos do not show in develop tab. the settings in the performance setting is grayed out and is set to off. but still photos doesn’t show. 🙁

Hey dude, amazing work here, thanks a lot ! But I’ve got a bit of an issue with the version I’ve download today fromMediafire (and then UploadRive). You said version 8.0 had problem with Develop page, and it was fixed in v9.1. So I guess that’s the version I’ve dl, and develop is still not working…. Any clue so I can fixe that ?
it’s said it’s fixed in 2019 version from 8.2.1+, but in first 2020 problem is still there and will hopefully be fixed soon – I don’t make setup releases so I can’t fix this myself, just wait a bit
