Note: some plugins may not be compatible with latest portable, some were made for 2019, some for 2020 etc. Look at release date of plugin and portable: if plugin date is after between two portable dates, then it's guaranteed working on that one. It may not work on portables made after that date, especially if major update. Maybe try and let me know so I update compatibility.

Known issues:
CC 2019 Suite activation method completely changed from previous years. Patched versions are out, but they still have some minor issues. (even install version, it's not a portable issue!) For Photoshop CC 2019:
Home screen doesn't load (loads forever). I'm sure you can live without it, opening or creating any file you want through menus :) - I already disabled Home in settings.fixed in v20.0.5-6-7, Home screen now works. For Photoshop 2020:Home screen doesn't load again in v21.0.1, ignore it and just use menus to open/create files. Will hopefully be fixed in future builds.fixed in v21.0.2+, all works, also Luminar as a plugin with no problems.Portable features:
- No installation required
- No Admin rights needed
- Pre-activated
- 100% Offline, completely safe to use, no firewall needed
- Sandbox folder containing modified settings, delete to reset
- Just run it and enjoy!
Note: Setup 2020+ is disabled on W7, but Portable 2020+ works in W7! But remember that Microsoft ended win7 support on 14 January 2020 so it's dangerous to use, please update to w10.

Hi, it is not possible, and there is no way around that, it only works with an active license and online functionality, I’m sorry… You can use Firefly online for free, or other tools around.
I tried running the latest portable verison on win10 2040 and am getting msvcp140.dll error.
Also tried installing/updating latest microsoft visual runtime 2015-2019 and it didn’t help.
Is there a solution?

you must follow the specific plugin instructions and ‘translate them’ for portable version, aka use sandbox instead of c:
Yes, I use the plugin instruction & translate it into the \sandbox \roaming \modified (act as C drive in their instruction), but still it can’t show up in the “extension” tab. I’ve tried for 3 days straight but still no result.. I hope someone can help.. anyway, thanks for your effort in making portable products.
It says on github that you have to install by dragging the plugin onto some extension manager, not directly into folder
Thanks. I installed using the extension manager, but it direct the installation to the real C drive instead of sandbox’s C drive (\sandbox \roaming \modified). So I try again by manually copying the files into sandbox, but still failed. It shows error “Extension Could not be loaded”. Any idea how to fix this?
ps portable should have an extension manager itself, also manually should work but maybe it doesn’t just add the files to folder, maybe it also adds some keys, try taking a look at the registry if there’s some key about that new plugin or also files somewhere else like appdata or commonfiles

I have a problem with this software. After first launch, before it creates sandbox folder, app starts with full screen, but then everytime when I click on it it is in some werid full screen mode which takes only 3/4 of my screen. (alt spacebar or trying maximalize it wont fix the problem). To launch app with full screen I have to delete sandbox folder and of course delete all of the addons like camera raw in a process. Second problem is some werid artifacts while panning and zooming. It looks like the grey area (background) ate my picture .… Read more »
might be some minor incompatibility of the portable version with very-high-res screens, are you using a 4k screen? try to play a bit with windows screen enhancement settings, set like 100% or 125% and see how it goes

You can right-click the psd file, ‘open with’ and select the portable exe, so that double-clicking psd then will open the portable automatically 😉
