Note: some plugins may not be compatible with latest portable, some were made for 2019, some for 2020 etc. Look at release date of plugin and portable: if plugin date is after between two portable dates, then it's guaranteed working on that one. It may not work on portables made after that date, especially if major update. Maybe try and let me know so I update compatibility.

Known issues:
CC 2019 Suite activation method completely changed from previous years. Patched versions are out, but they still have some minor issues. (even install version, it's not a portable issue!) For Photoshop CC 2019:
Home screen doesn't load (loads forever). I'm sure you can live without it, opening or creating any file you want through menus :) - I already disabled Home in settings.fixed in v20.0.5-6-7, Home screen now works. For Photoshop 2020:Home screen doesn't load again in v21.0.1, ignore it and just use menus to open/create files. Will hopefully be fixed in future builds.fixed in v21.0.2+, all works, also Luminar as a plugin with no problems.Portable features:
- No installation required
- No Admin rights needed
- Pre-activated
- 100% Offline, completely safe to use, no firewall needed
- Sandbox folder containing modified settings, delete to reset
- Just run it and enjoy!
Note: Setup 2020+ is disabled on W7, but Portable 2020+ works in W7! But remember that Microsoft ended win7 support on 14 January 2020 so it's dangerous to use, please update to w10.

Hello Admin, I’ve downloaded 3 different versions of Photoshop. (21.0) (20.0) (20.06). I got no luck. They start up with splash screen, then crash but will run in the processes. My windows updated to 1903. I’ve tried everything, run as admin, reset preferences, disabled graphics processor, ran compatibility with Windows 7. I dont know what else to do. My old photoshop worked fine on 1803, but stopped working on 1903. ..any ideas?

2020 v21.x works perfectly on w10v1903. Portables built before May2019 sometimes have issues running on 1903 but these are newer. But a trick to make them work is to run them from a usb stick, maybe try this out.

Edit: I solved it by resetting preferences when launching (Ctrl+Shift+Alt) on startup and just proceeding. (Cannot read new presets pops up but I just hit “ok” and relaunch)

I have the same problem too. Photoshop always displays an error message at startup : “Can’t read new document presets file.” Yeah, it doesn’t affect the functionality, but it’s annoying. I hope the future build will fix this issue.
I hope the same, I made portables 21.0.1/21.0.2 in the exact same way and .1 is perfect while .2 gives error, so it’s something they changed in the update
I did install the Microsoft Redistribution package however the error VCRUNTIME140.dll still persists…I had separately uploaded this file in the System32 and sysWOW64 folders…should i delete the dll now that the package is installed
did you read faq page? NEVER download and apply single dll files, it’s dangerous. remove your dll, install redistributable 2015 both x86 and x64, and run ps, will work

maybe some conflict happens, I test apps on a clean w10pro vm and it’s good, also I use it everyday to make pics for posts as you see up here, maybe try 21.0.1 a user said it was better, let me know
Ok, 21.0.1 could be a way to solve this out, but my instincts tells me that problem probably lay’s down in some conflict’s between software architecture around my W7, and the fact that you test it on a new OS. I’ll see…

That statement, at least in part, is incorrect. W7 is NOT being “discontinued” by Microsoft. They are simply no longer supporting it as of January 14. W7 will continue to operate just as it has, but many new versions of various software programs (including the latest PS & Lightroom) will no longer function properly (if at all) under it.. So, THOP is absolutely correct in advising that PS portable versions 21.0.1.47 and 21.0.2.57 will work better under win10. You’re right, discontinued may not be the correct word 🙂 they just don’t release security updates anymore so it’s not safe to use, if somebody founds a security hole you’re gone for good, and Ms won’t do anything about it not even if they’re aware
Your paranoia is totally unwarranted, except for the fact that attempting to scare visitors into upgrading to Win10 will make your life much easier. There is no way Win7 is immediately (or otherwise) unsafe just because Microsoft will no longer be providing support for it after January 14. Hackers will hack regardless of whether MS supports the Operating System or not, and it actually makes more sense for them to seek various security holes in Win10 than Win7. That won’t make my life easier, I just make portables and I don’t decide if they can work on w7 or not, sometimes they do sometimes they don’t, but I can’t and I won’t test it as I don’t even have time to just make portables. Even if I write that I just test on w10 and I can’t guarantee working on w7, would mean that w7 users will still try downloading to see if it works so in the end it’s the same, I don’t like having big banners just for 1% users
