Hi 🙂 I bump Michael’s request. And have another suggestion: is it possible to make Your portable version “not so portable”? 🙂 I mean that… this software has a lot of “plug-ins” of optical corrections for various types of cameras. Programme automatic recognize what kind of camera was used and asks to download proper plug-in. I was trying to do this, but it is impossible. Version You’ve created is not able to download any of this “plug-ins”. Usually they were stored as *.caf files in C:\Users<Username>\AppData\Local\DxO\DxO PhotoLab x\Modules (https://feedback.dxo.com/t/download-modules-manually/8966/2). So maybe You could explain, where to put this files according… Read more »
Yes, the folder should be /Sandbox/DxO PhotoLab 3/roaming/modified/@APPDATALOCAL@/DxO/DxO PhotoLab x/Modules
or something similar, maybe also try /local/ instead of /roaming/, but usually roaming is what works. Let me know!
I’ve tried and it didn’t work (modules are not present through the “module checker”). Files were copied to /local/… as well as /roaming/… folders. Finally they were in both folders and it also didn’t work. Maybe I also should write, that there’s another “CAFList3.db” file which was also copied separately(1)/with(2) this files. Btw. modules server is not probably “dangerous” and modules can be downloaded by anyone without any risk of blocking DxO.
Thanks for the package. There is an updated version available, 3.1 — maybe it is possible to update a portable package?
nope I have to build it again but not much time rn and for next 2 months, got exams
