This is a multi-package portable (modular). I can add packs/updates/plugins via .svm files, just request plugins or notify me about new updates.
Note: this took 2 full days to build and pack, just sayin. I had to manually build every single launcher and adding correct icon to it. This post you're seeing took 1 hour to write lol. So if you appreciate this please post a good comment <3

Why so big?!
Setup package is 13.8 GB and I installed the full thing. Total installed size on C: was 39.5 GB, and so is total portable size. Thanks to compression, total download size is just 11 GB. Pretty good!
Portable doesn't mean light, it doesn't magically decrease size, it's just all files and all features packed in a different and more convenient way. I could compress it, but performance would have been worse. I made a poll on my Telegram channel (@thehouseofportable) and big size+better performance style won, so please be patient, it's just a big app itself :)

Just a heads up, looking at the errors people are having. When installing the full version of Ansys from scratch and not this portable version, it requires changes and permissions from Windows regedit for it to work as intended. Therefore this portable version won’t work the same as a full genuine install.
the portable uses its own registry entries which are saved in sandbox just like normal files =) so the original ‘modified keys’ you’re mentioning are already included in the package. Apart from that, of course the portable is almost never 100% the same as install, as mentioned in faq page
Thank you. But I can’t neither import nor export step, iges and so forth files. Aren’t there any translators in the portable version or did I something wrong?
I dont really know, I just converted the full program to portable, I removed nothing, and I don’t know what it’s used for, what ‘translators’ are, etc… =(
Impossible to extract the archives. Rar part3 and 7 I have downloaded about 5-6 times and always the same message – checksum error, the archive is corrupt. This is not the first time having this message when downloading from THOP. What could be wrong?
