yep but it depends how you run things. for example if you run Media Encoder portable from its exe, it won’t detect Ae portable because they’re not both installed in the system, they’re separate independent portables. But, if you run Ae and then run Me from within Ae (Ctrl+Alt+M), it will run Me in the same environment as Ae so they will be linked. To do this you need to have the Me .svm file together with the Ae exe, so Ae will see Me as a big plugin let’s say. hope i was clear. idk what other things use… Read more »

I got THOP splash, then adobe splash, then it closes and doesnt open…
the illustrator, Photoshop & Premiere Pro works fine

I’m having trouble getting any of the Video Copilot plugins to work. They download as a .aex and I’m following the correct pathing as described in the add-ons section (Plug-ins folder), but during the load, they get to the ERNST loading before crashing. I hope I’m the only one having this issue. If anyone has any suggestions, I’m up for trying anything to help further causes. Love the portable!
First of all I want to say thank you. What you do is amazing and I don’t see anyone else making portable versions of such complex apps.
I realized 3D Tracking isn’t working (stays in initializing until it gets the “timed out obtaining dynamiclink server connection” error) and neither is Mocha (says “can’t get the Mocha module” and crashes After Effects) so I wanted to report them as bugs. I’ve also noticed some effects that start with CC crash the program too, but I suppose it’s because they need to connecto to Creative Cloud to work for some reason.
im sorry these things keep getting bloated and bloated with stuff, which is blocked for obv reasons and may cause issues, portable is a heavy modification in the end, so if you really need those features you might try install version (which is still not guaranteed to work, but has more chances since it’s less ‘modified’)

just having a problem, everything works besides when I load a large project file. It just crashes instantly. No error message or anything
