Notes about 2019 version.
- Office 2019 does include all features of Office 365, plus improved inking features (pen/tablet interface)
- OneNote is still 2016 and optional with Office 2019, as in the near future it will become a default Windows 10 app, apart from Office suite.
- Office 2019 will be the last version. It will be supported for a shorter time than previous Office version (still at least 5 years). After it, only Office 365 will be available – which has the same apps but with a perpetual subscription, not buy-once-for-lifetime license, but annual subscription. Are there likely to be a portable version of Word and Excel from Microsoft 2019 only? Sometimes there are people who only need the minimum to lock, it was just a consultation, thanks anyway.
I tried but they come out 1.5Gb each to me, because they have some shared component which is big (i mean files that are used by all apps, which for separate portables have to be in each portable) not sure if there’s a better way of installing, I tried selecting Word only from the ProPlus installer and it came out like this
