Design better civil infrastructure
Civil 3D® software supports BIM (Building Information Modeling) for enhanced civil engineering design and construction documentation.
Civil design
Perform faster design iterations and streamline time-consuming tasks.
Drafting and documentation
Connect design to documentation to help boost productivity and deliver higher quality.
Visualization and analysis
Use visualization, simulation, and water analysis tools integrated with the design process to improve project delivery and decision making.
Collaboration
Collaboration features help you overcome team coordination and workflow challenges within civil infrastructure projects.
- Relative elevation feature lines
Obtain feature lines from a surface or relative to a surface, so feature lines update with changes to the surface. - Dynamic offset profiles
Create dynamic offset profiles using a default cross slope. Modify them by editing the profile properties. - Connected alignments
Create a new dynamically linked alignment and profile that transitions between 2 intersecting alignments and their profiles. - Pipe sizing and analysis
Resize pipes and reset inverts, and compute the energy and hydraulic grade lines according to HEC-22 2009 standards. - Plan and profile sheet generation
Create plan/plan and profile/profile sheets by including multiple plan or profile views on a single sheet. - ENHANCED | Label property set data
Add custom data to Civil 3D object labels by using property sets. - ENHANCED | Traverse editor
Create points, lines, and curves representing traverse legs and sideshots using COGO input and editing tools. - Corridor overlap resolution (bowties)
Resolve corridor bowties in daylighting conditions. - ENHANCED | InfraWorks interoperability
Use preliminary design models within Civil 3D. - ENHANCED | Pressure pipe networks
Swap pressure network pipes, fittings, and appurtenances with parts of another size or type.
What’s new
- ProfilesOffset profiles are more accurate with support for vertical curves.
- SubassembliesExpanded corridor capabilities with more than 60 additional subassemblies.
- SectionsRepresent 3D solid objects more accurately with more control over visual properties.
- Pressure pipesMeet more design standards with additional fittings and appurtenances.
New way of doing portables: separate .svm packages - useful for plugins & so: reduces main exe size that contains only the program, then you can download the plugin package only if you want it! - ability for me to release a small program update through these separate files, without having to make the whole thing form scratch for each update. → More updated portables and less unnecessary size! This portable release includes: [ REQUIRED ] main package (~5.6 Gb): - exe file, to run main app - 3dsmax.svm (main core data file) [ OPTIONAL* ] total ~4.7 GB - inventor_server.svm (contains folder /ProgramFiles/Autodesk/AutoCAD 2019/Inventor Server (511 MB)) - recap.svm +exe +fix to activate Recap Pro (contains folders: /AppDataCommon/Autodesk/Autodesk ReCap /Program Files/Autodesk/Autodesk ReCap /Program Files/Autodesk/Autodesk ReCap Photo total 1.14 GB) - gis.svm (contains folder /ProgramFilesCommon/Autodesk Shared/GIS (524 MB)) - ssa.svm (contains folder /ProgramFilesX86/Autodesk/SSA 2019 (1.52 GB)) - update.svm (future updates for 2019 version) [ current: 2019 == v13.0.613.0 ] ► more plugins can be added later by request, or simply add them to "\Sandbox\Civil 3D 2019\roaming\modified\@PROGRAMFILES@\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2019" folder, or similar others (appdata etc), just like the installed version, and at next startup the portable will recognize your new files. * All these packages MAY be either required or optional for functionality of the software. I just found heavy folders that were in the portable and separated them from main package so you may reduce size. They are NOT separate plugins that were additionally/optionally installed, they were included in default installation. So they may or might be not needed, if something don't work just download them. I don't know how to use software, I just portabilize it for you guys. :)
