I downloaded the normal setup file (not the portable one). I ran the patch file, but the setup didn’t work.
the setup didnt work or the patch? and how didnt work? did you follow instructions carefully? did it need to be firewalled (i don’t remember)? it was perfect for me.

Sorry don’t know how to use the software, I just make it portable 😁 but in the splash screen it’s written ‘filmpack 5 elite’ so it’s included in some way.

try a reboot or change location or maybe run as admin, seems cant access its own created sandbox folder which is pretty strage, or maybe your av is blocking it

MAybe try putting the portable somewhere else like the desktop and see if it works. Or try running as admin. OR try a reboot. let me know!
this portable works great for me but i would like to completely unpack it to get the dxoactivaltion.dll that works with version 1.2.1. what software can i use for extraction? or could you post the dxoactivaltion.dll separately?

I have the same problem, I put the module file in the correct path, the software does not see them, DXO has a guide to do this but It seems the portable verson needs to have the files already in the package, since the folders where the modules are downloaded does not exist in this portable version, this is the path ‘C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Local\DxO_Labs\DxOModules’. These modules are very important for this software to be useful
folder to put files should be \Sandbox\dxo..\roaming\modified\@APPDATALOCAL@\DxO_Labs\DxOModules I think, did you try it? note that it’s roaming and not local. maybe try to put files in both roaming and local, it’s free. Let me know 😀
Can You tell me what files are DxO modules? I would coy them from another folder if i know….
sorry I just make portables dont know about stuff for each app I make, but maybe you can download those files from dxo?
Thanks a lot for this! When I try to download modules for different lenses I can’t connect to the server. Then I tried to download the modules manually and put them in Plugins but it doesn’t show up in the app. Any suggestions?
Portable is offline for privacy matter, most users like it this way. Make sure you put files in the correct folder and that portable is completely closed before running it again, so it can restart correctly and read new files 🙂
