everytime i run ableton there is always a turbo vuirtual machine and ableton running in the task manager ….is the VM safe and what is it doing?
yes it’s the virtualization environment in which the portable apps run into, don’t worry, this actually makes your computer safer as each portable is contained in a mini-vm
How do you install plugins like Serum or Vital? Do we send you a request to have these plugins? Some of the plugins need to be installed.

I’ve been inactive for a while now sry no time, but I’m sure the updated version is basically the same as this, you can still create great music if you’re capable.
Downloaded all 3 parts of this. Where do I put all three parts?

What do you do once you have extracted these parts to a folder in the C drive. Every time i try to start the program after pressing the set up file it says it is missing parts. Thanks.
Download the missing parts 😅 you have to download all parts, it’s better explained in faq page

No folders: you just have to drag it with your mouse over the Ableton window!

Hello! It’s well explained in FAQ page. In short, setup is the normal release, while portable is one that you run and use with 1 click, because it requires no installation and you can put it on a usb stick and carry with you without installing it in every pc 🙂

i try to unrar ableton 10.1.5 with winrar 5.8….it failed, say checksum error, exe file is corrupted (part2.rar), i downloaded the part 2 from diferents server and i cant make it work.

Hey! Just a question, should Ableton be asking me for a license everytime I start the program? It activates the license, then deactivates it after closing and opening the program again

Alright it’s working again! I think Ableton was just auto-updating and disabling that and repasting the exe fixed it, thanks!
It shouldn’t auto-update, it’s completely offline internally, no way it even checks if there’s even a new version …but glad you solved 🙂
